Specify the stretch film roll you need
Use these details to request a custom stretch film quotation or compare a replacement roll. The final specification should state the agreed values and acceptance tolerances for your order.

Blown describes how the film is made. Hand and machine describe how it is applied. Select the proposed grade and roll format together.
For hand wrapping
Start with the dispenser or handling method. Check core fit, roll width and weight, then trial the film on the actual pallet.

A film's elongation at break does not establish the working pre-stretch setting for your wrapper. Confirm the proposed grade in a suitable application trial.

Describe how the load will be handled and stored. The same nominal thickness may need different application settings on different loads.

State the storage duration and conditions, including any need for separate top coverage.
Logistics handling
Evaluate the wrapped load through the handling and distribution conditions relevant to your shipment.

Check carton strength and film tension so the wrapping process does not crush the package.

Match the roll to the equipment and confirm film changes, operating settings and packing requirements.

Identify the proposed material and grade so the quotation, sample and order refer to the same film.
Blown-film specification
Confirm nominal thickness, width and tolerances for the selected roll, rather than relying on the process name alone.
Performance evidence
Request available property data with units, test methods and conditions. Check application behavior on the actual load.
Slitting and roll format
Check film width, usable length, core dimensions and finished roll fit against the agreed specification.
Packing identification
Agree carton quantity, roll protection, labels and pallet packing for receiving and storage.
Order acceptance
Define sample approval and inspection criteria before ordering, including which dimensions or properties will be checked.
Make the trial comparable. Record the roll specification, equipment settings, pallet arrangement, film consumed and observed damage. Approval for a short wrapping trial does not by itself establish transport performance.

Is this blown or cast stretch film?
This product page covers TIAN FENG's blown stretch film. Manufacturing process alone does not establish the performance of a particular grade; confirm the proposed specification and application requirements.
What information is needed for a custom quotation?
Send the wrapping method, required thickness and width, roll length or net film weight, core dimensions, packing, quantity and destination. For machine use, add the wrapper model and roll-size limits. An existing roll label can be a useful starting point.
Can the same roll be used by hand and on a machine?
Do not assume it can. Core fit, roll dimensions, weight and the film grade must suit the dispenser or machine. Share those details when requesting a recommendation.
Does roll weight mean net film weight?
Not necessarily. Gross roll weight includes the paper core; shipping weight can include other packaging. Request net film weight, core weight and the relevant gross weight separately when comparing quotations.
Does black stretch wrap automatically suit outdoor storage?
No. Color alone does not establish outdoor weathering or UV performance. Describe the exposure and storage period, and confirm whether the proposed grade has supporting information for that use.
